Ada Health GmbH (“Ada”, “us”, “our” or “we”) uses cookies and similar tools on its website at ada.com (“Website”) to help provide you with a user-friendly, secure, and effective Website. This policy explains how we do that.

3. Third party tools used on our Website
We do use or allow the following third parties to serve cookies that fall into the categories above:
3.1. Meta Pixel
To measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns, we use a pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd (“Meta”), Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland on some subpages of our website. If you click on an Ada ad on the Facebook platform and are redirected to our website, we share in some cases very limited information about your activities there to assess whether the ad was successful. For example, if the ad is intended to encourage you to take a specific action on our website such as using a screener, we will report to Meta whether you have taken that action. Meta can link this information to your profile and associate it directly with you. We never share information about your health. However, the events may reveal that you are interested in and concerned with certain symptoms or medical conditions.
There is joint controllership with Meta for the use of the pixel in accordance with Art. 26 GDPR. The following additional agreement has been concluded with Meta: https://www.facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum
When using the pixel, information may also be shared with Meta's US parent company, Meta Platforms Inc, 1601 Willow Rd Menlo Park, CA 94025-1452, USA. Meta Platforms Inc. is certified under the Data Privacy Framework, so that an appropriate level of protection exists for your data.

3.2. Matomo Cloud
We use Matomo Cloud (Matomo), a web analysis service of “InnoCraft Ltd” (7 Waterloo Quay PO625, 6140 Wellington, New Zealand) for the purpose of designing our websites in line with your user preferences and continuously optimizing these. Matomo data is stored in Germany. Cookies might be used in this context. These cookies assess how you interact with our website – as an anonymous user (the data gathered does not identify you personally). This data is not shared with any other third parties or used for any other purpose. The information generated by the cookies are the following:
- type/version of browser,
- operating system used,
- referrer URL (last website visited),
- host name of the accessing computer (IP address - IP addresses are anonymized so that they cannot be linked to any specific person [IP masking]),
- time of server request.

4. Right to object
