How do I verify my account via email?
When you open the Ada app for the first time, you’ll need to sign up for an Ada account, a necessary step for utilizing the Ada app. For more information, see Why does Ada require an account?
If you choose to create an account using your email, verification is an essential step during the signup process. Here's what you need to know:
- After entering your chosen email and password, a verification message with the subject "Verify your email to start using Ada." will be sent to your inbox.
- If you do not receive this message immediately, check your spam folder, and please be patient, as email delivery can sometimes be delayed.
- Once the verification email arrives in your inbox, click on the "Verify your email" button within the message. This action will automatically complete the verification process.
By following these steps, you'll successfully verify your email and complete your account signup. Keep in mind that the verification link is only valid for 48 hours. If the link expires or the email does not arrive:
- Open the Ada app.
- Choose the Log in option.
- Select Sign in with email.
- Enter the email address and password you used to create your account.
- Click on Resend email, and wait for the verification email to arrive.
- Find the email with the subject “Verify your email to start using Ada.”
Within the email, click on Verify your email or the provided link.
Please note that you only need to verify your account once. After the initial verification, you can continue to log in using your email and password. If you do not receive the verification email, even after attempting to resend the message, you can contact us at [email protected] for further assistance.
