How do I set up an account?
An Ada account is essential for securely storing your health data and ensuring that only you can access it. Once you're logged in, you can manage multiple profiles for loved ones. For more information on why an account is required to access Ada, see Why does Ada require an account?
To comply with data protection laws in Europe (GDPR), the minimum age to create an Ada account is 16. Users over 16 can create secondary profiles for individuals under 16, provided they’re the legal parent or guardian of those individuals.
Once you’ve created an Ada account, the account sign-in method you initially choose (email, Facebook, Apple ID, or Google) cannot be changed or updated. If you wish to use a different sign-in method or update the email address associated with your account, you’ll need to create a new account.
To create an Ada account:
- Open the Ada app.
- Select Create your account.
- Agree to the Terms & Conditions and consent to the Privacy Policy.
- Either type in an email address and choose a password or sign in using Facebook, Apple ID, or Google.
For assistance with the account verification via email, see How Do I Verify My Account?
Other Sign-up Methods
If you choose to create an account using Facebook, a Google account, or an Apple ID, please be aware that Ada's support options for managing your account, resetting your password, or managing your data will be limited, including password resets and login troubleshooting.
