How is my personal data stored?

All personal data is encrypted for both transfer and storage, and is kept securely on cloud-based servers located in the EU run by Google Cloud Platform. We use the Europe-West1 data center, which is in St. Ghislain, Belgium. We use MongoDB Cloud Services (MongoDB, Inc.) to run the database services. Our databases are also located in the same data center.

Directly identifying personal data (such as names or email addresses) is stored separately from health data (such as information entered during a symptom assessment). Health data is pseudonymized and can only be linked back to personal data using a unique key.

Our information architecture follows the security-by-design principle, implementing strict data separation and encryption of data in transit and at rest.
