Ada Health announces exclusive partnership with Obeikan to improve health outcomes in the Middle East

Obeikan Investment Group “OIG” selected Ada to localize and deploy Ada’s industry-leading digital health technologies for the MENA region, with an initial focus on Saudi Arabia. 

The partnership with Obeikan is a key step in Ada’s global growth and is the company’s first expansion into the Middle East region, which has a population of over 410m people, many of whom lack access to trusted medical guidance. 

Ada’s technology draws upon best-in-class medical knowledge and a proprietary, probabilistic reasoning and inference engine, to provide trusted, relevant, actionable and effective medical guidance tailored to the needs of the local population. Ada empowers users to make more informed healthcare decisions while helping the existing healthcare landscape to provide more effective quality care. More than just a localization into Arabic, tailoring Ada’s technology has involved collaborating with Obeikan to ensure that the app is adapted to the region’s local requirements, taking into account things like linguistic nuances and the region-specific incidence of conditions.

Initially, a translated and localized version of Ada’s symptom assessment and navigation solution will be integrated into TAJ Digital Health, an Obeikan telemedicine app company, becoming the world's first third-party integration of this kind. Ada is being integrated natively with the TAJ mobile app through Ada’s Enterprise software development kit (SDK), with further functionality being planned for seamless care, including assessment handover to clinicians through an electronic health record (EHR) application programming interface (API) integration.
